Running for their lives

“Running for their lives”

On Friday the 29th of June 2007, 20 students from the ONE80TC program will be attempting to run 12hours on the soft sands of Sydney city’s most iconic beach, Bondi. Working in teams the students will be supported in there efforts by supporters, graduated students and staff of ONE80TC.

ONE80TC is an initiative of Teen Challenge NSW, for over 30 years ONE80TC has been helping break the cycle of life controlling issues for literally thousands of young people. www.one80tc.org

All of the student’s participating are overcoming some type of addiction to either drugs and or alcohol. “The sole reason for this event is to show other young people out there who struggle with these addictions, that there is a way out to freedom” Rhett Morris CEO , ONE80TC.

The students all male are aged between 16 – 35 years of age, with most managing to overcome the highly addictive “ICE” drug that is constantly infiltrating into the lives and minds of so many of our young people in our community.

Our students are demonstrating that their not only running for there own lives, but also for the lives of all the other young people and there families, who are trapped by addiction to substance abuse.

The event starts at 7am and concludes at 7pm on Friday the 29th of June on Bondi Beach
