NEW YORK – MAKING A HOME: JAPANESE CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS IN NEW YORK
The Japan Society presents the centennial exhibition “Making a Home: Japanese Contemporary Artists in New York”. As rich and diverse as the streets of New York City themselves, nearly 80 works by 33 influential artists fill 3 floors of the Society’s landmark building.
To celebrate the strong and historic cultural links between Japan and New York, Japan Society presents this large-scale group exhibition featuring the work of 33 contemporary Japanese artists who call New York City home, including Yoko Ono, Ushio Shinohara, Kunie Sugiura, Yuken Teruya, and Aya Uekawa.

TANK.TV PRESENTS THE WHOLE WORLD: CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
tank.tv is inviting submissions to its forthcoming show, The Whole World, curated by Ian White. The Whole World is a list of lists: a programme of artists’ film and video and an interactive online exhibition.
Viewers are invited to contribute to the programme selected by Ian White by uploading their own video list, be that an extract from an existing work or something made specially for the purpose, to compile a unique, exponential collection: an extraordinary list of lists, of the world as we know it.
Work will be selected to join the online exhibition as well as a rolling tank.tv programme on the CASZartscreen in Amsterdam.
Submissions will be accepted prior to, and throughout the exhibition online.

ALL STATES – REGIONAL ARTS AUSTRALIA NATIONAL CONFERENCE: ART AT THE HEART
Part conference, part festival – all art!
Art At The Heart sees artists, actors, academics, artsworkers, curators, filmmakers, musicians, performers, producers, students, volunteers, writers, all levels of government and the wider community gather in Alice Springs to discuss, celebrate and experience the arts and cultural achievements of regional Australia.
Proposals are being sought from artists and those who work in the arts for presentations, exhibitions, displays or performances. These proposals should include: a two-page brief outlining your idea, a budget and a one page curriculum vitae or biography of participants. You may submit photographs or DVDs to support your submission. Submissions will close on the 31st January, 2008.
The sixth biennial Regional Arts Australia national conference is presented by Regional Arts Australia and the Northern Territory Government through Arts NT, in collaboration with the host town of Alice Springs.
Proposals will be assessed by the Conference Management Committee of the 2008 Art at the Heart Regional Arts Australia National Conference.
