World of Women – 2009 Short Film Competition

The WOW Short Film Competition invites entries which are up to 55 minutes long and from any genre, with a variety of production values, from emerging and professional filmmakers.  Awards and prizes in many categories.

The film must either have a woman director, or, if it is directed by a man, must have women in TWO of the following roles: producer or writer or editor or cinematographer.

Selected films will again be given the opportunity to be featured in the on-line festival INDIE-FEST @ WOW Film Festival sponsored by IndieFlix. Films selected by the WOW Film Festival will have the opportunity to be selected for inclusion in the WIFT International Showcase which screens globally to celebrate International Women’s Day.

WOW is excited to announce a new arena for Women content producers ­ Vodules for Digi Media. Entry fee ONLY $15.00.
Vodules are created to make use of the emerging market of mobile technology and short form content.
