Brad Nunn’s Machine Gun Walker on display at ANAT (South Australia)
Posted on February 26th, 2010 No commentsStanding three and a half meters tall, Machine Gun Walker dominates its display space, demanding attention. Its size reflecting the power of warfare, while the remarkably lightweight frame questions human frailties. Built to address the loss of empowerment that can often be faced when using physical aids, the work empowers the user. Creator Brad Nunn comments, “…by creating this fantasy piece I am able to recapture some of traits of heroism and strength.”
Machine Gun Walker (2004) can be seen on display at the ANAT office – Level 2, 124 North Terrace, South Australia.
Open 10am – 4pm.Leave a Reply
