If you know the work of Adam Curtis, his quirky and eccentric mashup style is no surprise.

Curtis’ latest programme Bitter Lake was made solely for the BBC iPlayer and aired Jan, 2015. The film is nearly two and a half hours long. It is experimental and uses footage, in ways that at first appear random, to construct a narrative that attempts to explain the complexities of the modern world.
