Thin Green Line Festival – benefit for Wildlife Rangers

Wildlife rangers around the world are being killed protecting wildlife.

147 Rangers have been killed in ONE PARK ALONE – The Virunga National Park , Democratic Republic of Congo – home of the endangered Mountain Gorillas.

Become part of “THE THIN GREEN LINE” with these brave Rangers and support their families at this fundraiser festival at picturesque and shady Coolart Wetlands on Somers Beach on the Mornington Peninsula.

XAVIER RUDD will perform a special, unique – NOT TO BE MISSED – once off, acoustic set with special guests – former YOTHU YINDI performers BANULA MARIKA and MALNGAY YUNIPINGU.

21 other great music acts on 2 stages will also include – ARCHIE ROACH, MIA DYSON, BOMBA, SHANE HOWARD, NEIL MURRAY, DAN WARNER and many, many more.

To cap it off, there are circus performers, world films, three micro breweries – even one on a bike!!! Great local wines, world foods, an eco village and it is carbon positive – we take more carbon out of the atmosphere than we put in!!!

There’s a range of volunteer intiatives sponsored by Wildlife Victoria. In the wake of the bushfires you may consider getting involved in one way or another. Looking after wildlife is completely different from looking after domestic pets, but with some training you can get involved and help Australia’s treasured lil ones.
