NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK 2007
National Science Week is Australia’s largest national festival. It began in 1997 to raise the profile and increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of the role of science, technology and innovation in maintaining and improving our society, economy and the environment. National Science Week is a partnership programme between the Department of Education, Science and Training, and the ABC, ASF Limited, ASTA and CSIRO. National Science Week runs from the 18 – 26 August. Check out the website for details on how to get involved.
