“25 sacks for ya back”

To celebrate 25 years of Melbourne Fringe, Crumpler is calling out for artists to create original bag designs that will be made into 25 one-off custom Crumpler bags. We’re looking for designs that celebrate the flavour of Melbourne Fringe and Crumpler – creative, rebellious and Melbourne-all-over. Be creative, use your imagination. We’re looking for original ideas that engage the theme in an interesting way. Our 25 favourite entries will be turned into custom made Crumpler bags, and displayed for the duration of The Age 2007 Melbourne Fringe Festival. 25 sacks for ya back will be listed as a Special Event in the Festival Guide and on the Festival website, with plenty of additional exposure at the busy Crumpler Store on the corner of Smith and Gertrude Streets in Fitzroy. In addition to the excitement of seeing your very own design turned into a one-off Crumpler bag and displayed during the Festival, the 25 winning artists will get to keep their bag following the Festival.

Entrants are asked to provide an initial submission file for judging purposes only – Crumpler will request the original work / high resolution files should you win the competition. Please limit the size of your entry to no larger than A4 size (210mm high x 297mm wide) at 150dpi, and ensure that each entry is no larger than 1MB. Adobe Illustrator files are preferred, but files may also be submitted in PDF, TIFF, JPG, or PSD format. Include your name, postal address, email address and telephone number with your entry.

Entry Deadline: July 29th 2007, 5:00pm AEST Email your entry to communications@melbournefringe.com.au, with ‘Crumpler’ in the subject field. Up to three different entries will be accepted per person – each entry must be sent separately.
