ReelDance

ReelDance – One Minute Reels is a program of one minute, movement-based videos or films shot in one take that will be screened in partnership with Electrofringe 2007. Complimentary programs from overseas have produced some interesting work in response to the limitations of the criteria and selections from these programs will be combined with a curated program of Australian and New Zealand work.

Electrofringe is a festival of experimental electronic arts and culture. It focuses on uncovering emergent forms and places a particular emphasis on encouraging exchange between emerging and established artists. Electrofringe 2007 represents the festival’s tenth anniversary and will include screenings across five days from 27th of September to the 1st of October 2007.

Submissions are now invited for consideration from Australian and New Zealand film and video makers. All entries must be one minute (+ credits) in duration and contain no edit breaks. Closing date for consideration is August 1, 2007.
