SHIMMERSONG
Following the roaring success of The Amplified Elephants’ Cranky Robotics show, JOLT and Footscray Community Arts Centre are proud to present Shimmersong, the latest sonic art instalment from the acclaimed Amplified Elephants ensemble. Founded by renowned composer, pianist, electro sound-artist and instrument builder James Hullick and the participants of the ArtLife Program at Footscray Community Arts Centre, The Amplified Elephants are an inter-abilities ensemble of cutting edge sonic art musicians. On Sunday 18 November they join forces with the BOLT ensemble and special guest Eugene Ughetti for a FREE afternoon of hypnotic electronic and acoustic sounds. Immerse your senses in an afternoon of hypnotic electronic and acoustic sounds framed under pools of emanating blue light. Release yourself from the hustle and bustle of life and relax in a pool of lush, anatomical, moving images and instrumental music.
