2008 Celluloid Soup Film Festival

Entries are now open for the 2008 Celluloid Soup Film Festival, the premier short Jewish Film festival in Australia.  The idea of the festival is to promote Judaism and understanding in the wider community.  The theme for this year’s festival is “It Takes Two”. The theme highlights the relationship between all Australians and their heritage. It also lends itself to the idea of friendship and community. Celluloid Soup are offering cash prizes of up to $3,000 for films with a running time of 7 minutes and under (including credits). This year the Festival is also announcing a dynamic new category “60 seconds only”.

All films must be in by COB Monday August 18 to the Jewish Museum Melbourne
